The Chen Clan Ancestral Hall (including the Character-Respecting Furnace) is a cultural heritage protection unit of Chenzhou City.

The Chen Clan Ancestral Hall (including the Character-Respecting Furnace) is located in Xinfeng Village, Aoshang Town, Suxian District, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

In 2012, the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall (including the Character-Respecting Furnace) was designated as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units by the Chenzhou Municipal People's Government.

Protected area: starting from the outer wall foundation of the ancestral hall, extending 30 meters in all four directions.

Construction control zone: extending 20 meters outward from the protected area in all four directions.
