Authentic Guoyu Hot Spring Seven-Step Soaking Method

Step 1: Shower and Cleanse — Before soaking, take a shower to cleanse your body, which helps absorb the minerals in the hot spring water (back scrubbing can be arranged at this stage if desired).

Step 2: Self-Meridian Clearance — During (or after) showering, manually stimulate the stomach and gallbladder meridians to promote better absorption and detoxification later (you may follow the diagrams provided in the shower area).

Step 3: Soak in Authentic Hot Spring — Under the guidance of the hot spring area staff, choose to soak in three different pools, with each soak not exceeding 15 minutes.

1) Original Spring: Enjoy the pure, unaltered hot spring water.

★ First Hydration: Drink 200ml of plain water.

2) Infused Spring: Choose two types based on your physique and preference, as advised by the staff.

Step 4: Maifan Stone Detox — Lie down and relax, manually stimulating the Conception Vessel (as shown in the diagram) to aid internal detoxification. Recommended duration: no more than 20 minutes.

★ Second Hydration: Drink 200ml of lightly salted water.

Step 5: Original Spring — Fully absorb the minerals in the hot spring water. Soak time should not exceed 10 minutes.

Step 6: Geo-thermal Belt Wellness — Relax and lie still (optional services such as beauty treatments or foot therapy can be chosen during this phase).

★ Third Hydration: Drink a specially prepared seasonal Guoyu Wellness Tea.

Step 7: Shower — Rinse off quickly with warm or plain water for 2–3 minutes (deep full-body massage and wellness services can be opted for after this step).

Post-Hot Spring Care Notes: Eat light meals, avoid overeating, and ensure ample rest.
