【Pulaogang Site】

Located on the southern bank of the Li River in Taoping Village, Xikou Town, Cili County, the site covers an area of approximately 700 square meters and was discovered in 1986. The cultural deposit is about 0.7 meters thick. Artifacts collected include black pottery, red pottery, and sandy red pottery from the Qujialing culture; decorative patterns feature string patterns and perforations; vessel shapes include bowls, cups, and lids, and it holds important value for researching the primitive culture of northern Hunan.【Kangjiaxi Site】 Located in Kangjiaxi, Xingming Village, Yanbodu Ferry, Cili County, the site was discovered in 1986, covers an area of 600 square meters, and has a cultural deposit about 0.7 meters thick. Collected pottery fragments include black pottery and gray pottery from the Shang Dynasty; decorative patterns feature mat patterns and cloud-thunder motifs.
