Xikou Town: Located in the southwestern part of Cili County, Xikou Town derives its name from the confluence of the Jiudu Stream and the Duji Stream into the Li River.

Main characteristics:

A large regional town. It borders Nanshanping Township to the east, Jin’an Township to the west, Dongxi Township to the south, and shares the Li River with three Tujia ethnic townships—Ganyan, Yanghe, and Xujiafang—to the north. The town covers an area of 111 square kilometers, with 13,500 mu of arable land and 9,400 mu of paddy fields. It governs 19 administrative villages and 2 residential committees, with a total population of 18,200, including 3,200 urban residents.
