Wuhan Nonggeng Nianhua Agricultural Scenic Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The "Nonggeng Nianhua" Agricultural Scenic Park is situated beside the Hanshi Highway in Wuhu Farm, Huangpi District, Wuhan, covering an area of 3,000 acres. It is now a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. To the south lies the Yangtze River, to the west is Panlong City, and to the north is Mulan Mountain. The park is 15 kilometers from downtown Wuhan, 22 kilometers from Hankou Railway Station, 25 kilometers from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, and 21 kilometers from Wuhan Port, offering convenient and accessible transportation. Urban buses, light rail, Yangluo Bridge, Tianxingzhou Bridge, Hanshi Highway, Han-Ying Highway, and Julong Avenue all provide direct access. This park is a national-level eco-agricultural sightseeing destination. Currently, it has twelve functional areas including the Golden Ox Square Service Area, Ecological Wetland Sightseeing Area, Farmhouse Cuisine Leisure Area, and Log Cabin Holiday & Conference Area.

"Nonggeng Nianhua" is an excellent destination for agricultural sightseeing tourism. It is positioned as a "Five-in-One Garden": namely, a national-level agricultural scenic sightseeing park, an agricultural culture exhibition park, a farmhouse life experience park, an agricultural science education park, and an agricultural technology demonstration park. Additionally, there is the rippling "Jinniu Lake," the endless "Cui Zhu Shan" (Bamboo Mountain), the lush green "Grassland Horse Ranch," as well as distinctive aviaries such as the Hundred Birds Garden, Hundred Chickens Garden, Peacock Garden, Swan Garden, Jade Rabbit Garden, and Deer Park... There are also more than 20 bridges of various materials and styles.

Family Fun

Covering an area of 3,000 mu, Nong Geng Nian Hua (Agricultural Harvest Year) is located in Wuhu, Huangpi, Wuhan. With beautiful scenery and picturesque landscapes, the terrain is diverse, encompassing plains, hills, wetlands, lakes, streams, ponds, and islands, all within one park. In the scenic area, parents and children together experienced the novel "agricultural culture." The greenhouses of the Modern Agricultural Garden showcase tropical and subtropical charm; the Agricultural Culture Island reflects the history of agricultural development; the "Hundred Fruits Garden" bursts with blooming flowers and fruit-laden branches; the "Vine Garden" is dense with vines and clusters of fruits; and there are also rare animals in the Hundred Birds Garden, Hundred Chickens Garden, Peacock Garden, Swan Garden, Jade Rabbit Garden, and Deer Park... Many parents said that this visit greatly broadened their children’s horizons, and they gained a lot of knowledge through fun exploration.

Experiencing New Farming Many children saw real farming experimental fields for the first time and excitedly picked up farming tools, earnestly starting to engage in farm work, or went to the Agricultural Culture Island to hull rice, irrigate fields, or fish; some went to the production greenhouses and orchards to pick vegetables and fruits; others went to the Grassland Horse Ranch to ride horses and shoot arrows, experiencing the boldness of herders. Whether it was pushing a millstone, pedaling a water wheel, or riding a horse...

Because they saw organic foods grown in the scenic area such as fruit cucumbers, tomatoes, and free-range chicken eggs, visitors couldn’t help but buy more. In the end, everyone left with full bags. Auntie Wang, who participated in the event, told reporters that seeing these lush green vegetables made her want to buy a bit of everything.
