Tiemengkan Site

The Tiemengkan Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

Tiemengkan Site

Located in Tanpitang Village, Luohan Street, Huangpi District, Wuhan. It is a site dating from the Neolithic Age to the Song Dynasty. Covering an area of approximately 100,000 square meters, the cultural layer is about 3 meters thick. Excavations have been carried out here, unearthing precious artifacts such as pottery, porcelain, bronze ware, and silverware. This site holds significant importance for the study of the region’s historical and cultural heritage. (Fifth Batch)
