The former site of the New Fourth Army’s 5th Division in Yaojiashan is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province and a classic red tourism destination.

Located in Yaojiashan Village, Caidian Township, Huangpi District, Wuhan, it comprises the former auditorium, the former residences of Li Xiannian and Chen Shaomin, the former logistics department, the former general staff headquarters, the former printing factory, the former arms repair workshop, the former hospital, and the former ammunition factory. These sites are relatively well-preserved. The former political and military headquarters of the New Fifth Division in Yaojiashan is the only relatively intact complex of modern revolutionary cultural relic buildings in Wuhan, possessing significant historical value.
