Covering a total construction area of 16,000 square meters, Shengtian Farmstead integrates multiple functions such as green planting, natural scenery, historic sites, rural tourism, leisure vacations, outdoor sports, dining, and entertainment. It is currently the only sports-oriented scenic area in Wuhan. Surrounded by mountains and water, the farmstead boasts the most pristine and untouched natural landscapes. The Mulan culture is deeply rooted in the local community and passed down orally.

Located at the entrance of the scenic area, Shengtian Lake features a vast water surface surrounded by fields, giving visitors a feeling of being in a painting even before they venture deeper into the attractions. A ravine over a thousand meters long, known as Heigou (Black Valley), stretches up the mountain from the valley floor. The valley is filled with rugged rocks and clusters of exotic trees, and the water-rich Heigou Waterfall offers visitors a refreshing coolness. Also not to be missed is the classic outdoor activity developed by the farmstead—“Heigou Rock Climbing.” Breathing fresh air and engaging in aerobic exercise provides excellent physical conditioning for urban dwellers.

Along the mountain path, attractions such as “Yaochi (Jade Pool),” “Aifeng (Love Peak),” “Fenglinwa (Maple Grove Hollow),” and “Xishouyan (Hand-Washing Weir)” all carry legends of Mulan. The Tea Dao (Tea Tao) and Linggong Palace respectively bear witness to the footsteps of ancient merchants and the history of folk religion. Beautifully nestled among clear mountains and waters, Shengtian Farmstead offers not only exceptional natural scenery but also profound cultural heritage waiting to be explored and remembered by visitors.

Bus Routes:

A. Take bus 292 (3 RMB) to Huangpi, then transfer to a bus to Changyan (6 RMB), and finally take a minivan (25 RMB) to Shengtian Farmstead.

B. From Hankou Long-Distance Bus Station or Hankou Railway Station (Jinjiadun) passenger transport station, take a bus (10 RMB) to Changyan, then a minivan to Shengtian Farmstead. The full distance from Wuhan (Hankou) to Huangpi Shengtian Farmstead is 56 kilometers.

Self-Drive: Drive to Wuhan, Hubei Province from any city. Take the Wuhan Outer Ring Expressway → get on the Daihuang Expressway → exit the expressway roundabout and drive straight (toward Hong’an or Macheng) → cross the Huangpi Sheshui Bridge, then turn left at the crossroads one kilometer later (toward Mulan Grassland, there is a gas station at the intersection) → drive 18 kilometers to reach the main gate of Shengtian Farmstead → drive another 2 kilometers after entering the gate to reach Shengtian Farmstead. Those from Wuchang and Qingshan should take the Second Bridge and go via Zhuyeshan onto the Daihuang Expressway; those from Hanyang and Caidian should take the Third Ring Road onto the Daihuang Expressway; those from Xiaogan can take the Han-Shi Expressway onto the Daihuang Expressway, or take the road from Yangdian to Huangpi that connects to the Wuhan Outer Ring Expressway and the Daihuang Expressway: highways such as the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, the Han-Yi Expressway, the Wuhan-Huangshi Expressway, the Han-Shi Expressway, the Han-Ying Expressway, the Wuhan-Macheng Expressway, and the Airport Expressway all connect to the Wuhan Outer Ring Expressway and the Daihuang Expressway. Driving is convenient, and destinations within the Wuhan metropolitan area can reach Shengtian Farmstead in two hours.
