Luohuozhou Riverside Park

Luohuozhou is located to the west of Tuanfeng County, facing the county across the river, and is the largest midstream island in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. It is 20 kilometers upstream from the Wuhan Yangluo Yangtze River Bridge and 20 kilometers downstream from the Ehuang Yangtze River Bridge. Surrounded by water on all sides, it has a total tidal flat area of 17 square kilometers, a southern Yangtze River shoreline of 5.3 kilometers, a dike elevation of 27.7 meters, and a navigable channel with an annual water depth of 11 meters, and over 20 meters during flood season. Luohuozhou divides the Yangtze River into a main channel and a branch channel, with the main channel being 3,000 meters wide. Luohuozhou boasts birdsong and floral scents all year round, with lush trees and fragrant grass. Its beautiful natural environment, vast farmlands, silver beaches, and the expansive tidal flats formed by its unique geography make it a paradise for wetland plants, Yangtze River fish, and birds—a precious gem left by nature.
