Tangya Tusi's Golden Cave in the Mountain Kingdom is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Huangjindong Township is situated at the intersection of Chongqing, Hubei, Hunan, and Guizhou, bordering Enshi, Lichuan, and Xianfeng counties/cities. It has a total area of 215 square kilometers, a population of 24,800, and encompasses 15 administrative villages (with tourism attractions in 6 villages and 11 villager groups). The average elevation is 1,000 meters, featuring a mild winter and cool summer, picturesque landscapes, and abundant resources. With a forest coverage rate of 52%, the western golden tourism corridor that connects National Highways 318 and 209 runs through the township for 60 kilometers, and the Tangya River — the mother river of Xianfeng County — flows through it. As a “border trade hub town” and the western gateway of Xianfeng County, Huangjindong Township began developing the “World Wonder: Golden Cave” as early as 1984, making it the first site in the county to be developed for tourism.

The natural karst cave, Golden Cave, is located at the lower street entrance of Huangjindong Town, Xianfeng County, Hubei Province, about 60 kilometers from the county seat. According to investigations by Chinese and Belgian cave experts, the cave was formed before the Jurassic period and has existed for over 1.5 billion years.

Golden Cave integrates mountains, water, and caves, with three entrances (upper, middle, and lower), five main chambers, and 27 branch caves that are all interconnected.
