The site of the DACUN Meeting is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province and a classic red tourism destination.

Site of the DACUN Meeting

Located in DACUN Village, Xiaocun Township, Xianfeng County. In December 1933, the Central Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party for Western Hunan and Hubei held a meeting here, rectified the "Left" deviationist line, and put forward the slogan to establish the Hunan-Hubei-Sichuan-Guizhou Soviet Area, which had a significant impact on the revolutionary struggles in western Hunan, western Hubei, and other regions. The site is a three-story building with a total of 20 rooms, covering an area of 280 square meters, featuring a flush gable roof and a stone-wood structure. This site is an important physical relic for studying the development history of the CCP’s Western Hunan-Hubei Soviet Area. (Fifth Batch)
