Baique Mountain Village currently has 34 homestay tourism operators, with a total of 252 rooms that can accommodate over 500 tourists. Adhering to the “Five Modernizations” standards (greening, beautification, purification, lighting, and road paving), courtyard renovations of the homestays are carried out according to a unified design plan. The smart homestay integrated system is being optimized and upgraded to achieve full coverage of free Wi-Fi throughout the scenic area. Making full use of “Internet+”, a tourism signage system and guide maps are being established. Beijing Dadi Rural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. is constructing the Xiangjiawan Boutique Homestay, which will be fully managed and operated, offering four main functions: a folk culture exhibition hall, a teahouse, a high-end boutique winery, and an artistic leisure and creative studio. Longchundiao Tourism Development Co., Ltd. is developing the Water Lotus Lake landscape, continuing to leverage the popularity generated by the National Mountain Marathon event. With the goal of turning the race route into a scenic area, distinctive facades are being created for the residential buildings along the route, while efforts are being strengthened to protect the natural landscape. Complementary greening measures are being implemented to beautify the surrounding scenery, comprehensively enhancing the reputation of Baique Mountain’s rural homestay tourism. Resources from various departments including Party building, poverty alleviation, tourism, and political and legal affairs are being integrated, with innovative platforms and coordinated advancement, aiming to develop Baique Mountain Homestay Tourism as a key demonstration village — a model village for Party-led development, industrial-driven growth, eco-tourism, civilized harmony, and ethnic unity. This initiative explores a “tourism+” rural poverty alleviation model.
