Wildcat Water Village is located in Tuánbǎo Town, the eastern gateway to Lìchuān City. It lies 18 kilometers west of downtown Lìchuān and 3 kilometers east of the town center of Tuánbǎo, enjoying convenient transportation with National Highway 318 running east-west through the village. The village administers 10 villager groups, covers a land area of 5.46 square kilometers, and has an average elevation of 1,080 meters. The village enjoys diverse economic sources, primarily based on agriculture and animal husbandry. Animal husbandry mainly involves raising wild rabbits and pigs, while crops include tobacco, konjac, yam, vegetables, grapes, and greenhouse watermelons.

There are currently 68 homestay households that can accommodate over 700 tourists. The area also boasts cultural heritage sites such as the Yǐyǐng Pagoda, a provincial-level protected ancient monument, and Yǐyǐng Lake, among other tourism resources. Developing tourism-related industries has become a shared goal, with a strong focus on expanding leisure tourism, sightseeing agriculture, and green, organic, high-efficiency farming.
