Dawangshan Scenic Area

Dawangshan is located in the southeast of Lingshan Town, connecting to the main peak of the Mufu Mountain Range, with an elevation of nearly 800 meters, and is known as the "Little Jinggangshan." Surrounded by mountains, the area features steep terrain, beautiful scenery, and a pleasant climate. In 2004, it was successively listed as a provincial ecological forestry biodiversity conservation area and a provincial forest park. There are more than 10 major attractions, including over 10 caves, 12 waterfalls, a green pool at the mountaintop, and a sea of pine and bamboo. Cultural sites include the former site of the E’wan-Xiang-Gan-Jiang Command, as well as the former residences of [name redacted] and Zhang Tixue. The unique landscape features the nationally unparalleled Mao’er Fu Small Stone Forest, hailed as "forests within stones, stones within forests, a fusion of forest and stone, a unique wonder of China."

Lingshan Town: Lingshan Town is situated in the hilly region southwest of Daye City. It is recognized as a National Civilized Town, a National Model Town for Well-Off Construction, a National Key Town, and a National Advanced Town for Mass Sports, as well as a Civilized Town and Central Town of Hubei Province. The town covers a land area of 135 square kilometers, governs 21 administrative villages, and has a total population of 51,000. In 2005, the town achieved an industrial output value of 4 billion yuan, a comprehensive fiscal revenue of 112 million yuan, and a per capita rural income of 4,275 yuan.
