The Ancient City Site of Cao Wangzui is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Hubei Province.

Ancient City Site of Cao Wangzui

Located in Tianlong Village, Jinhu Township, Daye City, this is a city site from the Warring States and Han dynasties, covering an area of approximately 65,000 square meters. The site has an irregular rectangular layout, measuring 280 meters from north to south and 230 meters from east to west. The city wall foundation is about 12 meters wide, with remnants standing around 4 meters high. Traces of a moat can be found outside the city. Artifacts collected within the site include bronze pots, arrowheads, swords, as well as pottery items such as tripods, li tripods, jars, urns, basins, along with fragments of tubular tiles, flat tiles, and tile ends.
