Lan Ying Stockade is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Hubei Province.

Lan Ying Stockade

Located in Guanfeng Village, Guanfeng Township, Shennongjia Forest District. Originally built during the Tang Dynasty, it was later abandoned and then restored during the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty by the White Lotus sect peasant army. The site covers an area of approximately 3,200 square meters. The stockade walls stretch along the cliffs on the eastern bank of Zaizhi River from the southeast to the northwest. Constructed with dry-laid stones, the walls extend about 300 meters in length, around 2 meters in width, and 2–6 meters in height. There is an archway on both the southeast and northwest sides, each about 2 meters in height and [width unspecified] in width. Over ten gun loopholes remain on the walls. The cliff faces within the stockade still show holes carved for building houses in the past. (Third Batch)
