Mi Family Genealogy Stele

The Mi Family Genealogy Stele is a cultural relic protected at the municipal level in Zhengzhou.

The Mi Ancestral Genealogy Stele is located 100 meters northeast of Micun Street in Micun Town, Xinmi City. It was erected on the fourth day of the second month of the 30th year of the Wanli reign in the Ming Dynasty (February 4, 1602). The inscription is written in regular script, comprising over 600 characters, primarily documenting the historical origins and genealogy of the Mi family. The Mi surname originated from the ancient state of Mi in the Western Regions, and the family migrated from Zezhou in Shanxi to Mixian County in the early Ming Dynasty. The village of Micun derived its name from this migration. The Mi Ancestral Genealogy Stele is well-preserved and holds significant value for the study of the Ming Dynasty's migration policies as well as the migration and development of the Mi family.
