Jiugao Town: Jiudian Township is located in the eastern part of Song County, 28 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Ruyang County to the east, Fanpo and Tianhu Towns to the west, Yichuan County to the north, and Huangzhuang Township to the south. It stretches 9.2 kilometers from east to west and 10 kilometers from north to south, covering an area of 93.7 square kilometers. The township government is located on Jiudian Street.

Liberated in 1947, it was part of Huangzhuang District. In March 1948, the northeastern part was split off from Huangzhuang District to form Jiudian District. In October of the same year, it was merged back into Huangzhuang District. In October 1951, Jiudian District (the Eighth District) was re-established.
