The Lingquan Gorge Scenic Area is rich in natural resources and has been associated with ancient legends such as “the Sacred Spring Gushing Gold, the Mysterious Gorge’s Profound Depth, King Kang Tethering His Horse, and Confucius Preaching Scriptures.” Major attractions include the Lingquan Gorge Waterfall, Lingquan Red Leaf Mountain, Moon Lake Reflecting Heavenly Pool, Azure Dragon Playing in the Pool, Stone Treasury Sutra, Lovers’ Peak, Immortals’ Gathering Peak, Stone Fish Chime, Divine Dog Howling to the Sky, Lion Crouching in Majesty, Five Dragons Holding the Sacred, Mysterious Void Cave, Eagle Soaring in the Sky, Divine Turtle Probing the Water, Monkey Immortal Cave, Pigeon Cave, Hanging Pavilion, Ancient Persimmon Coiling Dragon, Gaohua Scenery, and Huangmei Nao Main Peak’s Vast Meadow, among nearly a hundred sites.
