The Hawa Cultural Ruins

The Hawa Cultural Ruins are located in Hawa Village, 7 kilometers northwest of Jixian County. Dating back to the Neolithic Age, the site covers an area of approximately 7,500 square meters, with a cultural layer about 3 meters thick, and belongs to the Yangshao Culture. Discovered artifacts include ash pits, pottery, pottery shards, stone tools, bone tools, as well as remnants of pillar holes from circular houses.
