The city had a perimeter of 4,522 meters, measuring 1,122 meters on the east, 900 meters on the south, 1,000 meters on the west, and 1,500 meters on the north. It was built during the Eastern Han Dynasty by Magistrate Cui Yuan during the reign of Emperor Shun. Currently, 200 meters of the city wall remain, standing approximately 5 meters high. The original carved stone plaque on the city gate reading “East Views the East Sea” remains well preserved.
