Situated on Mount Bailong, which rises to 1,744 meters in the northwest of Xinhekou Village, Beixin Tun Township, approximately 4 kilometers away. To the north, it links up with Zhangbei Tianlu and merges naturally with the Bashang landscape. To the east is Wanquan Wei City, famed as the “First Guard Post of West Beijing,” ensuring easy access. The mountain is both imposing and scenically unique, featuring considerable natural elevation differences and noticeable diurnal temperature variations. The Ming Great Wall majestically crowns the mountaintop, while the ancient Bailong Cave hangs midway down the mountainside. Spring water flows into Mandarin Duck Lake and Black Dragon Pool. The area is richly forested with lush pine trees, and the lower slopes feature expansive grasslands and picturesque lakes and mountains, offering a memorable experience that has attracted scholars and poets throughout history. The journey from the valley entrance to the Bailong Cave Scenic Area combines the scenery of both above and below the Bashang plateau, making it a tourism destination with great potential for development.

Xinhekou Village: Xinhekou is located about 19.4 kilometers southwest of Wanquan City, in the northwest of Beixin Tun Township, adjacent to the Great Wall Tourist Highway. The village has 312 households and a population of 787, with 6 village cadres and 42 Party members. The total arable land is 1,722 mu. The main income of local farmers comes from traditional crop farming. According to the county annals, the village was established in the 30th year of the Hongwu reign during the Ming Dynasty (1397 AD). It served as a vital passage into the inland areas through the Newhekou Pass of the Great Wall from Bashang.
