The Grotto Micro View Stele Inscription is located in Zhongxin Village, Zhaoxian Township, dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

On April 27, 2011, the Grotto Micro View Stele Inscription was designated as part of the third batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units in Wen County.

Zhaoxian Township: Situated on the North Henan Plain, Zhaoxian Township lies in the southwest of Wen County — the hometown of Tai Chi. It borders the Yellow River to the south and Mengzhou City to the west. The township governs 16 administrative villages, covers a total area of 31.14 square kilometers, has a population of 22,000, and includes 12,750 mu of arable land.

Zhaoxian Township boasts a rich cultural heritage and is dotted with splendid historical and cultural sites. It is the birthplace of Sima Yi, Emperor Xuan of Jin, often referred to as the “Hometown of Sima.” It is also the origin of the Wen clan, where remnants such as the ancient ruins of the Wen State’s capital, the ruins of the ancient Jin City, and the ancient kiln site for firing clay molds are preserved.
