Nülang Mountain

Nülang Mountain is located 11 kilometers southwest of Lingbao City and is a treasured area at the junction of Henan, Shanxi, and Shaanxi provinces. Legend has it that three sisters fled their forced marriages and ascended the mountain, where they became immortals capable of summoning wind and rain, bringing bountiful rainfall and abundant harvests. In gratitude, the locals built the "Niangniang Temple" at the mountain’s peak.

With an elevation of 1,556.2 meters and a total scenic area of 28 square kilometers, Nülang Mountain boasts stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The mountain is covered with lush forests and is said to be rich in hidden treasures. It features six major scenic zones: Huangtian Tomb, Niangniang Temple, Horse Running Spring, Dishi Valley, Canglong Ridge, and Stone-Crashing Waterfall, as well as 34 scenic spots including Stone Waterfall, Five Sons Stone, Homesick Cliff, Golden Well, Sitting Buddha, Eighteen Scenic Turns, and Cloud-Piercing Pavilion — all mysterious and enchanting.
