The Zhaicigang Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Henan Province.

[Zhaicigang Site] A cultural relic protection unit of Henan Province. A Neolithic Age site. Located east of Xiaogang Village, Chengjiao Township, Tanghe County, Nanyang City. It measures 340 meters in length and 250 meters in width from east to west, with a cultural layer 1–5 meters thick. In 1958, cultural relics workers from Henan Province conducted trial excavations here and discovered a large number of relics and remains extending from north to south. Among them were two house foundations, three storage pits, 18 tombs, and production tools mainly made of stone, including axes, shovels, chisels, knives, awls, and whetstones, as well as pottery spinning wheels. Daily utensils were primarily pottery items such as tripods, bowls, pots, beanshaped vessels, and cups. The artifacts exhibit characteristics of both the Yangshao Culture of the Yellow River basin and the Qujialing Culture of the Jianghan Plain, making the site of significant value for studying the relationship between northern and southern cultures in the late primitive society.
