Gushui Fuyuan Resort is located in the northeastern part of the North China Grassland, about 5 kilometers east of Guyuan County in Zhangjiakou City, bordering the vast grasslands of Inner Mongolia. This area was once praised by Emperor Kangxi as the "Eight Hundred Li Golden Lotus Prairie, where a myriad flowers vie in splendor."
