Renowned as the "Pearl Beyond the Great Wall," Grassland Lake is a place where grasslands, rivers, and lakes are interwoven. The scenery is magnificent — in summer, the wind is as delicate as silk, the water as soft as satin, and a profusion of flowers blooms. Flocks of wild ducks, seagulls, and ospreys gather and scatter, while the expansive green grassland, dotted with herds of cattle, horses, and sheep, forms a stunning highland vista.

If you visit Grassland Lake in summer, the first sight to greet you is a magnificent panorama: thousands of acres of shimmering lake surface, like a giant mirror inlaid in the grassland. In the distance, the water and sky merge into one, while the source of the Luan River, the Lightning River, meanders across the grassland like a coiled serpent. The grassland itself is covered in lush green turf and vibrant wildflowers.

In summer, the grassland bursts into a riot of colors as countless flowers bloom in vivid hues, competing in beauty and fragrance. A gentle breeze carries the sweet scent of blossoms through the air, refreshing the soul. The emerald-green blades of grass and various types of pasture sway with the wind, bursting with life and fragrance. Exotic and enchanting flowers such as the golden lotus dazzle the eye, forming a colorful, embroidered carpet. Herds of cattle, horses, and sheep are scattered across the landscape, composing a unique highland scene. A few skylarks flutter up and down in the sky, singing melodiously, adding a dynamic touch to the grassland.

Along the shores of the lake, clusters of lush green reeds and bulrushes grow, forming a natural green barrier. In the still waters, patches of duckweed cover the surface, shimmering with a green glow, while flocks of wild ducks hurry about in search of food. The breeze on the lake is as soft as silk, the water as smooth as satin. The azure sky is dotted with drifting clouds. In the distance, groups of grey cranes, herons, and terns rise and settle across the vast lake surface. Fish occasionally break the surface, sending up sprays of white foam.
