Xia Garden skillfully incorporates the essence of ancient architecture from both northern and southern China, embodying a rich aesthetic of classical oriental design while blending modern fashionable elements. Through the use of wax figures, situational storytelling, three-dimensional sound, and integrated light and electric effects, it vividly presents the grand and magnificent five-thousand-year epic of Chinese civilization—especially highlighting the cultural essence of the era of Yu the Great, the legendary founder of Chinese civilization, as well as the unique local customs and traditions of Weihai. It also uses modern audiovisual techniques to vividly and in detail recreate key historical figures who influenced the development of Chinese civilization, and prominently promotes the long-standing filial piety culture of the Chinese nation through sculptures, artifacts, photographs, text, and multimedia.
