Weihai Linhai Bay Tourist Area is situated in downtown Weihai and is made up of the International Seaside Bathing Beach, Linhai Park, and the International Leisure Sailing Base. It boasts a distinctive scenery of forests, sea, and bays, and represents the three "S"s of tourism leisure—sunshine, sea, and sand. It is the best coastal destination for leisure, vacation, and sightseeing. The numerous European-style villas scattered along the coast of Linhai Bay blend perfectly with the forest and sea, creating a captivating scene of “whispering woods and sea (pine forest conversing with the ocean).”

The area enjoys warm winters and cool summers with distinct seasons. The Coastal Tourism Road connects the scenic area with Liugong Island, CCTV Weihai Film and Television City, and others, forming a unique coastal vista, and is acclaimed as one of the world’s top ten most beautiful beaches. Due to its geographical location, Weihai is free from typhoons and not humid, making the period from April to November the best time to visit.
