Weihai City Library

The Weihai City Library is affiliated with the Municipal Bureau of Culture. It houses an office, cataloging department, reading room, lending department, children’s section, local literature department, reference and consulting department, and technical department. The total collection of the Weihai City Library amounts to 240,000 volumes (items), including 3,096 ancient books, 1 rare edition, over 440 types of local literature, and more than 1,100 volumes. Each year, 600 types of newspapers and periodicals are newly subscribed. The library has set up 10 book service points externally and provides special services for specific reader groups.

Bus:

Take bus No. 1, 11, 12, 21, 23, 24, 26, 27, 33, 37, 50, 52, 91, 101, K3, K2, or K6 and get off at the City Culture and Art Center (Qijiazhuang) stop.

Self-driving Guide:

Yantai-Weihai Expressway / Yantai-Weihai First-Class Highway (intersection) – enter Rongwu Expressway, drive 3.7 km – keep right and enter Beihai Interchange, drive 350 m – turn right onto S204, drive 440 m – keep right and enter Rongwu Expressway, drive 7.5 km – go straight onto Shichang Avenue, drive 11.1 km – turn right onto Xinwei Road, drive 1.5 km – go straight onto Qingdao North Road, drive 2.2 km – turn left onto Laoshan Road, drive 80 m – turn right from Laoshan Road to Weihai City Library, drive 170 m – arrive at Weihai City Library (about 15 minutes after exiting the highway)
