The former site of the British merchant's private residence (Little Red House) is located on Dongshan Road in Weihai. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty. On December 7, 2006, it was designated by the People's Government of Shandong Province as part of the third batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Units in Shandong Province.
