Chengnanzhuang Hot Spring, also known as South Hot Spring, is located in Wentang Natural Village, Houzhuang Village, Chengnanzhuang Town, 27 kilometers southwest of the county town. The spring outlet at Wentang consists of a pair of exquisitely carved marble lion heads, from whose mouths the water flows. Throughout all four seasons, the water remains crystal clear, with a constant temperature maintained at 55 degrees Celsius, earning it the nicknames “Treasure Spring” and “Holy Water.” Locals from nearby villages often visit to bathe here for both minor and major ailments, and the hot spring is especially effective for treating skin diseases. During the early spring season when flowers bloom and butterflies flutter, visitors from surrounding counties flock to the springs, a tradition referred to as “Zhatang.”
