Located at the border of Huantai County. It is formed by the convergence of downstream waters from the Xiaofu River, Zhulong River, Zhenghuanggou, Wu River, and other streams. The lake stretches 7 kilometers from east to west, 4 kilometers from north to south, covering an area of nearly 30 square kilometers. It is an inland freshwater lake.

Mada Lake boasts enchanting scenery and has been a naturally delightful tourist destination since ancient times. There are 25 natural villages along the lakeshore in Boxing County, all connected to one another, with lush willows and poplars, small bridges over flowing streams, and quaint houses nestled among them. Together with over 20 lakeside villages in Huantai County, they form an oval-shaped scenic belt, like a mother’s embracing arms gently cradling the pearl-like Mada Lake. Within the lake, waterways form a network, creeks and inlets spread out in all directions, islands are scattered like stars, and fields and paths interlace in a jagged pattern. Verdant reeds grow densely along the fields, while crimson lotus flowers stand gracefully above the water. Scattered across the lake are small fishing cottages, encircled by lotus and cattail, with willows swaying nearby. Each cottage has a small bridge at its door, and boats moored at the bridgehead, presenting a scene straight out of the Jiangnan region.
