Dayu Zhang Forest Park
Dayuyuzhang Canal Head Forest Park was officially named by the Shandong Provincial People's Government in December 2001. Within the park, you can find the Dayuyuzhang Yellow River Diversion Sluice, pavilions and towers, century-old weeping willows, the Youth Forest Project, as well as sculptures such as Yu the Great Taming the Floods, Mother Yellow River, and the "Protect the Mother River" sculpture. The scenery is picturesque and pleasant. The six large characters "Dayuyuzhang Yellow River Diversion Sluice" were inscribed by the renowned calligrapher Shu Tong.
