Liushu Site
The Liushu Site covers an area of about 10,000 square meters. The cultural deposit is approximately 2 meters thick. Collected artifacts include: pottery shards from the Longshan Culture, primarily sandy black pottery and sandy red pottery, decorated mostly with appliqué and string patterns; identifiable vessel shapes include ding tripods and eggshell-thin black pottery cups; stone tools consist of axes and sickles. From the Shang and Zhou periods, there are rope-patterned li tripod rims and jar rims made of sandy red pottery, as well as large-bellied dou plate fragments. From the Han Dynasty, there are gray earthenware pot, jar, and basin rim fragments, among others.
