Xingyi Site

The Xingyi Site covers an area of approximately 100,000 square meters, with cultural deposits about 3–5 meters thick. Collected artifacts include: plain tripod vessel rims and legs made of coarse black pottery from the Shang and Zhou periods, cord-marked tripod vessel rims made of coarse red pottery, and gray clay stemmed dishes; as well as gray clay pot rims, jar rims, basin rims, and dish fragments from the Han Dynasty. A temple was originally built on the site but has since been destroyed. Stone Buddhist statues from the Northern Dynasties, as well as gray clay pot rims, roof tiles, tile ends, plain tile fragments, and more gray clay pot rims have been unearthed here.
