Dason Patriotic Education Exhibition Hall

The Dason Patriotic Education Exhibition Hall is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Dason Patriotic Education Exhibition Hall consists of three parts: the main exhibition hall, the "Thousand-People Pit" site, and the Monument to the Martyrs. Through a large number of photographs, physical objects, and sculptures, it displays the suffering endured by the people of Dason Township, Leling during the Anti-Japanese War, as well as major historical events such as the Huangjia Uprising and the Dasangshu Breakout Battle carried out under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

The establishment of the Dason Patriotic Education Exhibition Hall is another comprehensive park integrating patriotic education, Party history and Party spirit education, integrity education, and red tourism, following the Jilu Border Revolutionary Memorial Park.

The indoor area of the Dason Patriotic Education Exhibition Hall is approximately 1,460 square meters. It comprehensively reflects the various sufferings, losses endured by the people of Dason Township during the Anti-Japanese War, as well as their heroic deeds of rising up in resistance and fighting bravely against the enemy under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, using panels, text, round sculptures, reliefs, multimedia, and scene reconstructions.

It is reported that in the 1960s and 1970s, the former Dason Township Patriotic Exhibition Hall was an important revolutionary education base in Leling and surrounding areas. Schools and military units within a hundred-mile radius organized visits, with the number of people educated reaching over 200,000. In the 1980s, the exhibition hall fell into disrepair due to aging and gradually deteriorated. In 2012, to commemorate the history of the "Thousand-People Pit" and the "Xingguanzhuang Anti-Sweeping Campaign" during the war of resistance, educate future generations, develop red tourism resources, build a characteristic cultural tourism township, and enhance external influence, Dason Township raised funds from multiple sources to rebuild a high-standard patriotic education exhibition hall on the basis of full demonstration. This year, as an extension project of the Jilu Border Revolutionary Memorial Park, the Leling City government carried out the exhibition arrangement for the hall.
