“Flavor Town” refers to the Yixiang Avenue construction project, located at the old crossroads of Yang’an Town. With an estimated total investment of around 9 million yuan, the project plans to upgrade and renovate the shops on both sides of the former Provincial Highway 248, focusing on creating an antique-style food street and a commercial pedestrian street. At the same time, high-standard upgrades will be made to the pipelines on both sides of the street, including burying all power lines and optical cables underground, standardizing water supply and drainage pipelines, and carrying out high-standard greening and lighting along both sides to create a central service and food pedestrian street in the town area. The overall project tender was completed in mid-July, and the pilot section with an initial investment of 350,000 yuan has commenced, with completion planned for early August. Renovations of the shops on both sides will proceed simultaneously. The entire project is expected to be fully completed by the end of 2015, and upon completion, it will become a new cultural and tourism landmark in Yang’an Town, Leling City.
