The Wulizhong Site serves as a patriotic education base.

The Wulizhong Site is located about 30 meters north of Wulizhong Village in Shizhong Subdistrict. The mound is platform-shaped, stretching 83 meters from east to west, 31 meters from north to south, and standing 2.3 meters high, resembling a small hill. The upper layer of the site belongs to the Han Dynasty cultural stratum, while the lower layer is from the Longshan culture. Artifacts unearthed include Neolithic-period items such as stone axes and stone sickles, as well as bone awls, deer antlers, oracle bones, pottery spinning wheels, li tripod feet, and other artifacts from the Shang and Zhou dynasties, along with Han bricks and Tang Dynasty pottery jars. Experts have confirmed that the stone axes and sickles were excavated from a Longshan culture site. The discovery of this site has broken through the previously understood boundaries of Neolithic cultural distribution in Shandong Province, broadening our understanding of material civilization in primitive society, and holds extremely valuable significance for the study of Leling’s history. In 1956, the People's Committee of Shandong Province designated this site as one of the first “Cultural Relics Protection Units” in Leling County. In February 1977, it was announced by the Shandong Provincial Revolutionary Committee as a provincial-level “Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.”

Shizhong Subdistrict: The Shizhong Subdistrict Office is situated in the center of Leling City. It borders Guojia Subdistrict to the west, connects with the Tiejing Circular Economy Demonstration Park to the south, neighbors Yunhong Subdistrict to the east, and adjoins Hujia Subdistrict to the north. Covering a total area of 48.8 square kilometers, it includes 1,290 hectares of arable land, administers 8 communities, 6 management areas, and 59 villages. Provincial highways 314, 315, and 248 run through the area, and the Majia River flows across the subdistrict, providing convenient transportation and abundant water resources.
