Shi Chuanxiang Memorial Hall is a national AA-level tourist attraction and a patriotic education base.

Shi Chuanxiang was a native of Qihe County, Shandong Province, and a nationally renowned model worker in the 1950s. He worked as a sanitation worker in Beijing.

Shi Chuanxiang achieved extraordinary accomplishments in an ordinary position. His lofty spirit of "preferring to get dirty himself in order to keep thousands of homes clean" and his selfless dedication to serving others earned him high praise from both the Party and the people.

As a reflection of the noble professional ethics embodied by exemplary figures of the older generation, the "Shi Chuanxiang Spirit" shines like a brilliant constellation, illuminating future generations and forever recorded in history. It is respected and upheld by people across all industries nationwide.

To vigorously promote the Shi Chuanxiang Spirit, with the approval of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, the Shi Chuanxiang Memorial Hall was established in his hometown.

The memorial hall is located in Qihe County on the northwestern plain of Shandong. Although it falls under the jurisdiction of Dezhou City, it faces Jinan, the provincial capital, across the Yellow River, just 11 kilometers from downtown Jinan and 36 kilometers from Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport.
