Antou Township Zhongzi Zhang Village

Antou Township Zhongzi Zhang Village is one of the earliest pilot villages for community construction in Qihe County.

The Zhongzi Zhang Community Industrial Park (Shandong Changrun Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd.) was established in the village in 2011. This project was developed on the reclaimed land of the old village site of Zhongzi Zhang Community in Antou Township and the rehabilitated sedimentation pools. It was introduced and planned through land transfer, covering an area of 2,000 mu. The plan is to build a modern organic farm integrating organic vegetable cultivation, fruit and melon planting, flower and seedling cultivation, and aquaculture. The farm adopts organic farming methods to ensure that agricultural products are free from any pesticides or other harmful chemical residues that could damage nature or human health. It also enables immediate fruit extraction, value-added development, and distribution. To date, the project has completed 160 mu of high-standard organic vegetable greenhouses, planted 200 mu (over 20,000 trees) of landscaping seedlings and organic fruit trees along the perimeter of the farm and scenic belts, cultivated 500 mu of organic multicolored peanuts, planned 120 mu of aquaculture water surfaces, and newly planted over 600 mu of organic cherries, grapes, walnuts, and seasonal fruit mulberries. A modern farm that is picturesque, harvestable, pickable, edible, fishable, and recreational has been preliminarily established. Shandong Qihe Changrun Zhihé Organic Farm has successively won honors such as Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization in Dezhou City, Excellent Demonstration Area for Modern Facility Vegetables in 2012, Qihe Premium Scenic Spot, and Qihe County Consumer Satisfaction Unit.
