Shenzhou Honey Peach Sightseeing Garden

The Shenzhou Honey Peach Sightseeing Garden is a tourist area built around the peach orchard base in Shenzhou City, incorporating surrounding scenic spots. In 2008, it was rated as a National AA-level Tourist Attraction by the Hebei Provincial Tourism Bureau, and in 2009, it was named one of the first “Hebei Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Sites,” making it the only site in Hengshui region to receive this honor.

The sightseeing garden is located in the northwest of Shenzhou urban area. It features vast peach orchards, and in Ximazhuang, there is a flower viewing platform, a flower appreciation pavilion, as well as an inscription personally written by Wang Guangying that reads “Shenzhou Honey Peach – The King of Fruits.” There are also various rockeries with inscriptions from notable figures, such as “Peach Blossom Spring” and “Face-to-Face with Peach Blossoms.”

Nearby attractions include the “Millennium Ancient Locust Tree” in Zhuanghuotou, the 580-year-old “Ancient Pear Tree King” in Bagong, a traditional handicraft exhibition and sales street, and a specialty snack street. In recent years, new roads have been built within the scenic area, making the ground smooth as a mirror. The environment is beautiful and transportation is convenient. According to statistics, during the Peach Blossom Festival in 2009, the garden received over 200,000 visitors from various regions. All attractions within the “Shenzhou Honey Peach Sightseeing Garden” are free to visit.
