Lingqing Bucket Lane is a cultural relic protection unit of Liaocheng City.

Lingqing Bucket Lane is located in the old alleys along the ancient canal in the old city area of Lingqing, and is a key cultural relic protection unit of Liaocheng City.

The lane currently stretches over 500 meters in length and is about 3 meters wide.

It is said that Lingqing has “thirty-two streets and seventy-two alleys,” which coincidentally matches the description in the book “-” that “Lingqing is a bustling hub, a place where merchants come and go, a convergence point for carts and horses, with thirty-two flower-lined lanes and seventy-two music-filled towers…” This numerical coincidence is intriguing and awaits further exploration to unveil its layers of mystery. Within Bucket Lane, there are several well-preserved ancient residences built with bluestone slabs, and the alley is lined with wooden-board houses. The worn doorstep stones and rusted gates still hint at the prosperity of the past. During the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period, the local taxation office of Lingqing was once located here, and the building remains largely intact today.
