The ruins of the Weiwan Customs House are a protected cultural heritage site of Linqing City.

The ruins of the Weiwan Customs House date back to the Ming Dynasty. They are located in the central part of Dongcun Village, Weiwan Town, Linqing City, on the northern bank of the Grand Canal.

On July 12, 2010, the ruins of the Weiwan Customs House were designated as a county-level cultural heritage conservation unit.

Weiwan Town: Located at the junction of Linqing City, Chiping County, and Dongchangfu District, Weiwan Town stretches 11.4 km from east to west and 7.8 km from north to south, covering a total area of 59.44 square kilometers. It has 48,000 mu of arable land, a total population of 26,000, and 27 administrative villages, along with four enterprises of county-level or above scale. The entire town lies on the North China Plain, featuring flat terrain, vast fertile fields, crisscrossing paths, and the famous Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal running from southeast to northwest through the area. It is 30 km from downtown Linqing, adjacent to the Liaoxia and Linbo provincial trunk roads to the east, and connected to the Beijing-Kowloon Railway to the west.
