The Memorial Site of Premier Zhou Enlai’s Visit to the Earthquake-Stricken Area is among the first batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units designated by Xingtai City.
Lianzi Town: Located in the southeastern part of Longyao County, the town seat of Lianzi is situated 7.5 kilometers southeast of the county seat. It borders Ren County to the south, Old City to the north, Baijiazhai to the east, and Baishe Township to the west, covering an area of 78 square kilometers. It governs 24 natural villages.
Lianzi Township was initially established in 1953. It was abolished in 1958 and incorporated into Niujiabridge Commune. In 1961, it was split from Niujiabridge to form Lianzi Township Commune, which was reorganized as a township in 1984.
