Liuzhuang Village is located 3 kilometers northeast of the town, with a total of 310 households, 885 residents, and 1,035 mu of arable land. The village achieved a total industrial and agricultural output value of 320 million yuan, generated profits and taxes of 20 million yuan, and earned 7.4 million US dollars in export revenue, with products sold to countries and regions including Japan, South Korea, and Italy. The per capita net income of villagers is nearly 20,000 yuan. Villagers have access to tap water, use straw gasification for cooking, and enjoy geothermal hot spring heating and bathing in winter. Liuzhuang has been honored as the “First Village in Western Shandong,” “Model Village in Town and Village Construction in Shandong Province,” “China’s Characteristic Economic Village,” and a “Provincial Civilized Village.” It received Shandong Province’s first “Habitat Environment Award” and was named an “Advanced Village in the Fourth National Campaign for Creating Civilized Villages and Towns” by the Central Civilization Commission in January 2009.

Over the past decade, the construction of the new Liuzhuang Village has been continuously improved.
