Lianhu Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

Lianhu Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Dongchangfu District, Liaocheng City, and was built based on the Tuhai River water conservancy project. The scenic area covers an area of 6.45 square kilometers, including 2.42 square kilometers of water surface, and is classified as an urban river-lake type water conservancy scenic area.

The scenic area has enhanced the city’s flood control and drainage standards, reduced soil erosion, increased green planting, enriched biological species, and improved water ecological quality through measures such as comprehensive river channel regulation, water surface widening, and the construction of new water retention projects. Natural landscapes paired with ecological waterscapes, combined with the culture of the ancient canal, create beautiful scenes such as “a vein of clear water, a touch of lotus charm” and “gently entering the ancient path, leisurely reflecting the old town,” reshaping the urban image of the “Water City North of the Yangtze.”
