Tomb of Zhao Yizheng

The Tomb of Zhao Yizheng is a cultural relics protection unit of Liaocheng City.

The Tomb of Zhao Yizheng is located at No. 135 Huayuan South Road, Liaocheng City. It dates back to 1928 and is categorized as a modern-era significant historical site and representative structure.

In April 1999, the Tomb of Zhao Yizheng was designated as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit of Liaocheng City.

Zhao Yizheng (1904–1928), courtesy name Cunli, was a native of Yaojiayuanzi, Liaocheng County (now part of Dongchangfu District, Liaocheng City). He was a revolutionary martyr. In 1923, he was admitted to the Second Provincial Middle School of Liaocheng. In 1925, he enrolled in the Whampoa Military Academy. In 1926, he was assigned to the Third Route Army of the Northern Expeditionary Force, serving as a platoon leader and an engineering company commander, among other roles. He joined the Communist Party of China during the Northern Expedition. In the autumn of 1927, he was sent back to Liaocheng as a military special commissioner.
