Tomb of Martyr Song Zhan Yi

The Tomb of Martyr Song Zhan Yi is a cultural relic protection unit of Liaocheng City.

The Tomb of Martyr Song Zhan Yi is located in Zhangzhuang Village, Zhangluji Township, Dongchangfu District. It dates back to the modern era and is classified as an important modern historical site and representative building.

In January 2003, the Tomb of Martyr Song Zhan Yi was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit of Liaocheng City.

Song Zhan Yi (1906–1931), courtesy name Ziguan, later changed his name to Song Kuifu. He was from Xiaozhangzhuang (now part of Dongchangfu District, Liaocheng City), Shenxian County. He served as the Secretary of the Communist Youth League Shandong Provincial Committee and was a revolutionary martyr. In the autumn of 1923, he enrolled at the Third Provincial Normal School in Liaocheng. After the May 30th Incident in 1925, students in Liaocheng held demonstrations, with Song Zhan Yi at the forefront of the struggle. He also organized the “Ten-Person Patriotic Group” to carry out anti-imperialist and patriotic activities. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in the spring of 1927.
