The Zhangxi Zhang Family Ancestral Hall is located in Zhangxi Village, Dazhanglou Town, Jiaxiang County. It is categorized as an ancient building, dating back to the ancient architecture period.

On December 26, 2016, the Jining Municipal People's Government announced it as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Jining.

As a key town for relocation due to coal mining subsidence, it is also a centrally planned provincial-level hub town. Located 17 kilometers from the county seat, it covers an area of 70.72 square kilometers, governs 49 administrative villages and 65 natural villages, with a total population of 39,000.
